A little practice. More confidence.

Practice the moment before it happens.

Surefoot is free safety practice for college students. Work through real situations from parties, dates, group chats and nights out, pick what you would do, see why it helps, and keep the words that work.

Watch a moment. Then practice it.

Every lesson is a short narrated video: a real situation, the choices, and words you can use. Watch one here, browse them all, or practice the lessons yourself and see why each choice helps.

About Surefoot

Rooted in love. Built to strengthen choice.

Surefoot began with Michael T. Brown’s desire as a father to help his daughters recognize pressure, communicate boundaries, support their friends, and ask for help without shame.

He saw how those same lessons could serve other families, helping young people build healthier relationships grounded in respect, responsibility, and care. Love means listening, honoring someone’s choices, taking responsibility for our behavior, and making room for people to grow.

Surefoot turns those values into practical lessons. Through everyday situations, visual stories, and words people can practice, learn and develop confidence in navigating uncomfortable moments. These lessons support personal choice without placing responsibility for harm on the person experiencing it.

The people and perspectives behind the work

  • Michael T. Brown brings the founding vision, his experience as a parent, and a commitment to making practical relationship and safety education accessible.
  • Liberation Based Therapy brings the perspective we seek to include: dignity, agency, belonging, and freedom from shame.
  • Ordo Digital brings the technology and creative collaboration we seek to turn that vision into an engaging learning experience.

Together, this vision centers on helping people trust their voice, respect the voices of others, and build relationships where care is expressed through everyday actions.

Created with love. Practiced with purpose. Carried into everyday life.
